Goldilocks and The Three Bears: Long ago, three bears lived deep inside a quiet, green forest. They resided in a lovely wooden house. These weren’t ordinary bears—they were a family! There was a great, big bear (Papa Bear), a middle-sized bear (Mama Bear), and a tiny, little bear (Baby Bear). They all lived together happily, sharing everything and caring for one another.
Every morning, the bear family made warm, yummy porridge for breakfast. But this morning, their porridge was too hot to eat. So, they decided to go for a walk in the woods while it cooled down. Off they went, leaving their cozy house behind.
Who Was Goldilocks?
Now, not far from the bears’ home, a curious little girl named Goldilocks was playing near the forest. She had bright golden curls that bounced down her back, and everyone called her by her shiny name—Goldilocks.
As she wandered through the woods, she saw the bears’ house. It looked so neat and welcoming that she couldn’t resist going inside. She had no idea it belonged to anyone. After all, it looked like a fairy tale house right out of a kids story.
Goldilocks and The Three Bears- The Porridge Surprise
Goldilocks stepped into the house and immediately smelled something delicious—porridge! Her tummy rumbled. So, she went to the table and saw three bowls of porridge sitting there.
- First, she tasted the big bowl (Papa Bear’s). “Ouch! Too hot!” she cried.
- Then, she tried the middle-sized bowl (Mama Bear’s). “Oh no, this one’s too cold.”
- Finally, she tasted the smallest bowl (Baby Bear’s) and smiled. “Mmm… this porridge is just right!” And she ate every single spoonful.
Goldilocks and The Three Bears – Trying Out the Beds
After eating, Goldilocks felt sleepy. So she climbed the stairs and found three beds.
- First, she lay on the big bed (Papa Bear’s). “Too hard,” she mumbled.
- Then, she tried the middle bed (Mama Bear’s). “Too soft,” she sighed.
- Lastly, she snuggled into the tiny bed (Baby Bear’s) and smiled. “Ahh… just right.” Before she knew it, Goldilocks had fallen fast asleep, snoring gently.
Goldilocks and The Three Bears – The Bears Come Home
Meanwhile, the three bears were walking back from their stroll, excited to eat their porridge.
As they walked in, Papa Bear growled in his deep, loud voice,
“Someone has been eating my porridge!”
Then Mama Bear said in her normal, calm voice,
“Someone has tasted mine too!”
Baby Bear looked into his empty bowl and squeaked in his tiny voice,
“Someone has eaten all my porridge!”
Now they were truly puzzled. Who could have done this?
Goldilocks and The Three Bears- Who’s Sleeping in My Bed?
The bears went upstairs to check their bedroom.
Papa Bear shouted,
“Someone has been sleeping in my bed!”
Mama Bear said,
“Someone’s been lying in my bed too!”
Then Baby Bear saw something surprising. His bed was not empty. Right there on the pillow lay a little girl, with golden hair shining in the sunlight.
Baby Bear whispered in his tiny voice,
“Someone is sleeping in my bed… and she’s still here!”
The Great Escape
Goldilocks woke up to see three furry faces staring down at her—one big, one medium, and one tiny. She screamed in surprise, jumped out of bed, and ran down the stairs as fast as her legs could go!
She flew out the front door, ran through the trees, and didn’t stop until she reached her grandmother’s house.
She was out of breath and wide-eyed. She told her grandma about the house in the woods. She also talked about the porridge, the beds, and the three talking bears.
Her grandma laughed gently and said,
“My my, what a wild imagination you have, child!”
