Raja Or Budhdhiman Lomdi: बहुत समय पहले की बात है, एक घना और खूबसूरत जंगल था जहाँ शेर ‘राजा वीर’ राज करता था। राजा वीर न सिर्फ शक्तिशाली था, बल्कि न्यायप्रिय और समझदार भी था। उसके शासन में सभी जानवर सुख-शांति से रहते थे। लेकिन जैसे-जैसे समय बीतता गया, राजा वीर बूढ़ा होता चला गया और उसे यह चिंता सताने लगी कि उसके बाद जंगल की जिम्मेदारी किसे सौंपी जाए।<\/p>\n\n\n\n

राजा जानता था कि ताकतवर होना ही राजा बनने के लिए काफी नहीं होता, राजा में बुद्धिमानी, धैर्य और न्याय की भावना भी होनी चाहिए। इसलिए उसने पूरे जंगल में एक चुनौती की घोषणा कर दी।<\/p>\n\n\n\n

राजा वीर ने सभी जानवरों को इकट्ठा किया और घोषणा की—<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“जो भी जंगल के सबसे खतरनाक और गहरे गुफा से दुर्लभ रत्न लेकर आएगा, वही इस जंगल का अगला राजा बनेगा।”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

यह सुनते ही जंगल में हलचल मच गई। कई ताकतवर जानवर जैसे हाथी, चीता और भालू आगे बढ़े लेकिन फिर डर के कारण पीछे हट गए। सभी को उस गुफा की भयावहता का अंदाज़ा था। लेकिन तभी एक पतली-दुबली पर चतुर लोमड़ी, जिसका नाम ‘चंद्रा’ था, धीरे से सामने आई और बोली,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“मैं इस चुनौती को स्वीकार करती हूँ।”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

जंगल के जानवर हँस पड़े। कोई कहता – “ये दुबली सी लोमड़ी क्या कर लेगी?” लेकिन चंद्रा मुस्कराई और बिना किसी डर के अपने सफर पर निकल पड़ी।<\/p>\n\n\n\n

गुफा के पास पहुँचते ही उसे कई कठिनाइयाँ मिलीं – गहराई, अंधकार और खतरनाक जानवर जो उस रत्न की रक्षा कर रहे थे। लेकिन चंद्रा ने अपनी चतुराई का इस्तेमाल किया। वह शेर की तरह दहाड़ी नहीं, मगर चुपचाप उसने पहरेदारों को चकमा दिया, चुपचाप रास्ता बनाया और अंत में वह चमकता हुआ दुर्लभ रत्न अपने पास ले आई।<\/p>\n\n\n\n

जब चंद्रा जंगल में लौटी, तो सभी हैरान थे। एक कमजोर दिखने वाली लोमड़ी ने वो कर दिखाया जो बड़े-बड़े ताकतवर जानवर नहीं कर सके थे। वह ना सिर्फ रत्न लेकर लौटी, बल्कि उसने यह भी साबित कर दिया कि मुश्किलों से लड़ने के लिए ताकत नहीं, बल्कि समझ, धैर्य और सूझबूझ की जरूरत होती है।<\/p>\n\n\n\n

राजा वीर ने गर्व से उसकी ओर देखा और सबके सामने घोषणा की—<\/p>\n\n\n\n
